July 27, 200322 yr I have both on different partitions (actually different physical drives) in the same PC. Installed first into FS9, after tranferring the license from an old (now un-installed) instance of FS2002, the re-registering on the automated web site (worked well). Then, re-installed FS2002 into another partition, and installed the NG again, making sure to point it to the new FS2002 location (it defaulted to it's already-installed location in FS9), and checked the FS2002 files in the installer. Re-booted, started FS2002 to register the NG, and nothing in the a/c menu- or even no PMDG folder in FS2002 either. Where did my install go?Any comments? In FS9 (and I do understand that the patch will make things better for FS9), I saw a much greater impact on frame-rates then in my old install of FS2002. The a/p also appeared to be confused, and when attempting to change windows in the MCP I noted also that any time my mouse got close to the window a flashing hour-glass appeared and the frame-rate tanked. This was with the 2D panel, I haven't even tried the 3D panel until the patch.Would it work better to re-install FS2002 into the same partition as FS9? I note that in FS9, there is now a E:Program Files...FS2002Modules folder (from my NG install), which I assume would be destroyed if I re-installed FS2002?Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. July 28, 200322 yr Bruce,I cannot help you more than just saying that I have MSFS2K2 and Cof installed in the same partition and installing and running the PMDG 737 (I have it installed in both sims) causes no problem whatsoever. Couldn't get it to work in Fly!II though ;)/Krister Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
July 28, 200322 yr Author Thanks Krister :)I'll wait for the patch before doing any more with this a/c in FS9. I've now re-installed them on the same partition too.Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
