Great Job! Will the main landing gear bays be fixed in next update?

Featured Replies

Great job PMDG for all the hard work and dedication on this new a/c. I love flying it and is tons of fun.Two things I have found that could make this even better.1. When the main landing gear retract into the bays, there is a huge gap between the wheels and the fuselage bottom. The wheels should be very tightly fit in there with very little room. I was just wondering if you could make the gear holes smaller in diameter so the wheels fit better in there.2. The next one but is not a major concern at all is the curve of the engine pylons. The real NG has engine pylons actually rise up some above the wing and then start smoothly down to the engine. Your NG has no rise at all but is fairly [email protected]

Adam, according to pictures that are available on airliners.net, the engine pylons are correct as modeled. The pylons you discribe are used on the earlier generation 737's.

Here is a picture of John Tavendale's repaint of your NG in the SS forum,http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/28306.jpgand this is a link to a pic of airliners.net taken by PolishAir42 - Chicago Aviation Photography at Chicago Midway.http://www.airliners.net/open.file/331074/L/Here you can see that the actual ng the pylons actually come up above the wing a little bit and then start to curve down to the engine. They have a little hump in the middle before they start down. This is one of the things that allowed for the new engine shape of the cowlings. The FS a/c curves down right away and then flat for a while then goes down further and is accurate at the end there. The problem is the shape where it comes off the wing it should curve up a little more then come down. Again not a huge thing, just was wondering if it would be fixed, don't mean to be really nitpicky either, just was offering constructive critizimn if you wanted it.Thanks for all the hard work guysAdam [email protected]
