I have an E-Mail into PMDG but maybe one of you can advise me.After I paid, got my confirmation number and password, I went to the download But here's what is happening. Where I get to the download page, the word "here" is in black and the cursor arrow doesn't change into a pointing finger. The download link is also black and nothing happens when you click on it either. If the word "here" or the link are not the place you click to get the whole shin-dig going then where do you click? I tried clicking everywhere. I tried copying the link onto the "Go" bar and the got the response below:Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14' Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'ConfID = '' and TimesAccessed > 0 and password ='. /shop/shoppingcart/download.asp, line 11 Since Rob R. speculated that there might be an incompatability issue between AOL and PMDG's distribution system, I got a hotmail adress and the latest Microsoft IE6. When I try to send an E-Mail through Hotmail it directs me back to AOL to send my mail.Anyone have any insights ?P.S. the message in my subject line in real world aviation means that I am over the Denver Vortac, 5000 ft. (on the ground) and have an urgency that I want ATC priority for but do not wish to either declare myself in distress or be required to submit a written report to the [email protected]

Ok sounds like there's several different issues going on here:The email you got from PMDG should have a web link in it to the download page - can you copy and paste that URL into IE6 and get to the site fine? Now the issue about email - when you say "When I try to send an E-Mail through Hotmail it directs me back to AOL to send my mail." do you mean this is happening when you click an a email address or when you actually go to www.hotmail.com and try to send an email? If you're talking about trying to click on an email address and you want it to open hotmail instead of AOL, then this is an easy fix - open up IE6 and chose "Internet Options" from the Tools menu. Go to the "Programs" tab and set the Email drop down to Hotmail instead of AOL. I'd actually advise you to do all your web viewing with IE6 rather than the AOL program - IE6 has a lot more features and is a lot more compatible with things (especially security/encryption related) than AOL is. AOL does use a modified version of IE, but it layers so much junk on top of it that you're almost always better off using the actual IE6 program unless you're viewing content that's specifically part of AOL.Ryan
