COMPUTER - HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Guest coimbra

Hi, I had this system: Athlon 2100 XP, 512 DDR 333, Asus A7V333, Asus Geforce 2 GTS/PRO - 64 MBI formatted both hard disks and changed the system to: Athlon 2500 XP, 1024 DDR 333, Asus A7V8X-X Radeon 9600 Pro - 128 MBThe system is ok, but the framerate is almost the same or even lower comparing with the first system. Any suggestion? Specially with PMDG and other complicated aircrafts or scenery it is caotic: 10 to 12 frames or even a little bit less ...Thanks, Coimbra

Coimbra,Unless you change to a MUCH faster processor you won't see any real improvement in frame rates. Extra memory doesn't improve frame rates neither does a graphics card with more memory. They just improve loading times /fluidity and texture redraw times respectively. You don't mention resolutions, loaded weather or scenery and the last two can make a big difference to frame rates. Turn down some options or buy a faster processor. You should always bear in mind that the latest version of FS will never run particularly well on the current hardware. It takes about 12 months for the hardware to catch up. By then a lot of people are already talking about the next version! ;)Cheers,
