Sometimes they slip by ...

Recommended Posts

Although I'm always curious as to why people often post to trumpet an addition that is obvious to us all in the Avsim library, occasionally little gems appear in other places that get missed by many, I think. A FS2002 Fiat CMASA RS 14 Prototype (WWII floatplane) was posted at www.fsfreeware.com a couple of days back (6/22) and has still only had 30 downloads. It's not one I would have jumped at myself, but I downloaded it out of curiousity: and Massimo Taccoli has done a marvellous job of it. She's beautifully modelled, textured, and set up, and although the VC is not dynamic, you can wander about and even go down to the bombardier's station for a great view. Well worth a look, chaps ... I'd better tell Massimo to get posting at Avsim!Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg

Because we didn't know it existed? I have often wondered what other "little gems" are on (let's say) Japanese, or Chinese, India meaning: sites we never hear of?

Well, to answer that second post, I know there is a Japanese site out there somewhere that has fantastic Japan airport's done for FS2002. Just have no idea where to go on the vast information highway.

I don't know. I guess I so was excited to see Mike Stone's B1900 that I forgot that everyone else would probably see the plane before my "trumpet". :)
