Displays blank in VC in Windowed Mode (FS2004)

Recommended Posts

After finally getting the 737NG working in FS2004 (gave up patching in 2002), all is pretty well except for one item. If I switch to 45 degree right view or to Virtual Cockpit while in windowed mode, all of the displays are blank. They work fine in the 2D panel. I have searched the forum and couldn't find anything on this issue. Any ideas on a solution?

i am no expert, but my only guess might be that your displays are undocked, if you dock the displays it might help?like dont enlarge the displays or make them separate windows, just have them look like they are built in to the panel?

Apparently you were right - although I didn't have my CRT's undocked. I did have my throttle panel and radio panel undocked. Anyway - when all is docked, the CRT's work fine in VC mode. Strangely - if I go to VC first, and then undock throttles, radios, etc. - the CRT's stay on in VC. Thanks for the suggestion.
