PMDG 737 SAVE FLIGHT IN PROGRESS

I have tried to save a flight in progress and re-start it at a later time. It will not work. I tried in Fs9 and Fs2002. The fmc will not load a saved rte in the air. The settings on the instrument panel do not come back the way they were when the flight was saved. Without the fmc data the autopilot does not function properly.

I have other advanced 3rd party aircraft that have the capability. Without naming them they also have FMc's and other advancded features. First you save the Fmc data then save the flight.I guess I will be limited to shorter flights using the PMDG 737.;( ;(
