September 11, 200322 yr Hi. I am sure this has been brought up before but a search of the forum turned up nothing for me. I have the latestet cycle (309) installed in the FS9pmdgsidstars and they are there and look ok using notepad. However they are not showing up on the FMC Dep/Arr page. Did I miss something?? Mike B.
September 11, 200322 yr Yeah I would say that you did =) The SIDS/STARS are not located in the AIRAC file. Download them here http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/...ures%200309.ZIP They will go into your SIDSTARS folder loacted within your PMDG folder. My path is this C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PMDGSIDSTARS The AIRAC does NOT go there, it goes HERE C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002 OR Flight Simulator 9FMCWPNAVDATA If you do not have the FMCWP folder just MAKE ONE and also the NAVDATA folder within it. You then point the extractor to the NAVDATA folder.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. September 12, 200322 yr Ok, I mis-spoke. The sid/star database is in the pmdg/sidstars folder and the airac stuff is in the FMCWP/navdata folder. Now I repeat the question, any ideas why they are not showing up?? I can look at the files in the sids/star folder and they look fine. also the AIRAC data looks fine.. I'm stumped. I used them before but did a uninstall/re-install of the NG and now can't get them to show... MIke B.
September 12, 200322 yr Are they in DOUBLE FOLDERS? What I mean is, when you open up the NAVDATA folder is there ANOTHER NAVDATA folder? Same goes for the SIDSTARS Folder. This has been a problem with a few people.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. September 12, 200322 yr One thing I noticed is that the SIDS don't show up until you have entered both a departure and a destination airport.
