IFDG 757-200 Series feedback and request!

Recommended Posts

Hey Gang!IFDG has definitely done a magnificent job with their version of the Boeing 757-200. The flight model is beautiful and rock solid (I don't think POSKY would have gotten it any better - KUDOS Guys!) The dynamics, visual model, and animations are very nice as well. Now for the observations:1. No reverse thrust engine animation! (Is this possible for a future update?)2. When looking on the Right/Rear view from the cockpit, there is what appears to be a propeller spinning.3. The virtual cockpit has got to go. (Is it possible to just leave this with nothing?4. When turning the yoke left for left aileron control, all air brakes from both wings get active, rather than just the left wing and vice versa. 5. Is there anyone that might know how to activate the vapour trails for this aircraft? Please do not take my observations as negatice criticism; it's all in the name of making the best 757-200 to date even better. Thanks folks for this great addition to our hobby!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

Hey Kristian! Thanks for your candid reply! On the smoke request I meant the hand coded vapour trails that come out of the wings when on approach. Some folks made some for the POSKY A-330's and 767's. GMAX ehhh????? So that means flexing wings? He He Joking!!!!! On the reverse you say that you won't do it; do you mean you will not do reverse animation on GMAX either? Thanks again for the clarification and thanks a million for your contribution to our wonderful hobby!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

Just to inform,I sent a mail to Robert, there was some mixup in the LTU textures, night lighting was from Air2000 - looked like a poorly painted over wet lease. He replied that replacement textures are underway and will be uploaded when the server/bandwidth... problems are fixed. So for all of You having this problem, check back if the new version's up...CU,TM

Yea I think the aircraft are also wonderful my only complaint really is that the ailerons and elevators move way to much when you look at the aircraft from spot view. Is there a way to fix this. Thanks...Roderic

This is the 757 I've been waiting for. Just one problem. On the Northwest model, the VC appears way out in front of me. I tried adjusting the viewing position to get in the cockpit, but can't get close enough. Any ideas? But I would vote for keeping a good VC in the gmax version.Todd

Hi Dennis,"Some folks made some for the POSKY A-330's and 767's. "Can you tell me more about this- like how to get the mod that will enable this? Sounds awesome! Thanks,Bruce.

I agree with Todd, be OK if you were doing the 737 that peeled it's top in Hawaii, but it needs fixing...actually I'd vote for no graphics at all.Timothy
