Tom' I have down-loaded your DC-6 panel v5. Great panel, BUT the manifold pressure guages are not right. They show on take off only about 25". You know a R-2800 will pull 52" dry.Is there any thing I can do to get this right.Thanks Denny

What FS version? The v5 panels are incompatible with FS2002. Tom; I'm running FS 2000.Another question Tom: I have tried to down-load the twin panel from your Calif Classic page. Won't work. I get a page not found. Any idea of why that happens.Thanks for your reply Tom, also, I've got to tell you that DC-6 panel is GREAT, if only the manifold pressure guages were right.With out those working right, you can't put in any real power settings. ( from an old B-29 flight engineer)Denny

Sorry, never heard of that problem in FS2000. Don't know what could be causing it. Try reinstalling the panel?BTW, I have moved the web page; see below for the new address. One possibility - you might be blowing the cylinder heads by going to full throttle. If you hear a "chuffing" sound during takeoff, then this is indeed the problem. Tom, thank you. I deleted every thing & started over. Got both the DC-6 & twin panels in. Both work perfect. Got to tell you Tom, Not many get this right with these big round engins, but you sure did on these. If I don't have control of the engins, well, I'm not having fun !.I think these panels are right up there with Jan and his DC-3Thanks again. Denny

Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm eagerly awaiting their upgrade to FS2002. The data structures of FS2000 and FS2002 are very different in the engine area, and Francois (Ouellette, the gauge programmer who did all those amazing gauges) is having problems getting things to work in 2K2.
