Can programmers now show multiplayer a/c in our TCAS?

Recommended Posts

"Fixed the facility added in 2.86 to allow aircraft to be added to the TCAS list by external programming. In the original version updates actually created additional entries."Does this mean that the latest FSUIPC allows external sources (=for instance an updated SB) to add multiplayer aircraft to the TCAS in FS2002? That would be a riot!

Yep, get the latest FSUIPC and AirBridge (see the library for both)and use your own TCAS and put away the SB TCAS. The TCAS within FSFlightMax now works online just like it does with the AI aircraft when offline. Great in other words.Regards,Bob..http://www.mtco.com/~rsam/Bobbie2.gif

Are there any other TCAS programs out there. Has anyone tried pmTCAS?

Tried it with Flightmax, PSS Airbus, Flight1 C421 and it works just fine! As mentioned elsewhere, this is one of the best things this year!Didn

pmTCAS is a no go for me. I sure wish it did work.
