Overspeed at .54 mach?

Recommended Posts

Guest

HELP! All of my aircraft go overspeed at .54 mach. I was cruising in a NWA A320 @ 35,000 ft. at .78 mach (the A320 cruising speed at FL350 as said by airbus.com) and I almost went nuts from the overspeed sirens! This might be normal, but I don't think I want to cruise around at .54 mach forever. Is there a way to fix this or change the sim's definition of overspeed up to a reasonable speed?

Do you have Indicated Airspeed checked in the realism settings?

Which A320 are you using? Do you have AirEd so you can check the air file? Look for Mmo and see what it's set to if you do. Otherwise, send the air file to me and I'll look (as long as it's not payware).

I'm using Mike Stone's A320 until the Project Airbus A320 comes out :)This does happen on ALL planes, though. I've got Abacus FDE editor. I'll check and if I can't figure it out, I'll send it via e-mail. I believe it's set at .82 mach.
