I have a MX420 and I think im losing my sanity. :-bang I need those reflections and I think that geforce has cheated us, we need to go to their headquarters and picket the place for days and days, lol.I need to go to sleep but its only 3:00PM here.WE NEED TO GET THIS FIXXEDHopefully GeForce hasnt pulled a fast one on us poor simmers.(I kinda think is a fs2k2 thing, CFS2 is great with the detailed ground and #### but not fs2k2, pissing me off) :)

Hi. I'm running a GF4 MX440 by gainward (600TV) and i don't have any multi texturing, detail, and reflections for some reason. Yes, I have multi texturing enabled yet it still doesxn't have any effect on ground textures. I used to get reflections on my old ATi Rage Fury Pro 32MB but ever since I upgraded I wish I should have gone with a G2Ti. I emailed gainward and nvidia 4 months ago and had absolutely no reply. This was a good idea Paul maybe we can get the attenion of NVIDIA.

you have a Ti version, thats why :)I have mild success, i have the crispest textures ever but no little specklies or reflections. I guess its only a CFS2 thing, lol."Damn fs2k2, TO HELL":)

Ok I'm about to drop a bombshell on this topic...I own a GF4 MX440. And I do get reflections. I have seemed to narrow it down to a FS2002 thing. Those of you who want to get those reflective textures here is how to do it:-Assuming you have FS2002 in Windowed mode, load your flight like any other flight you would do. -Once the sim is started and is running at your usual FPS go up to your aircraft selection window and open it.-Choose a default aircraft I usually use the Extra 300. Just choose it so that it becomes the currently selected aircraft. -With that aircraft in the selcetion window go down to the start bar that lists the open and active programs. FS2002 should be the active window. Now click on that one that say's Microsoft Flight Simulator, you'll notice that the aircraft you have choosen becomes blotchy.-Now click the spinning plane and you should see reflections in the windows. Then just select the aircraft you were originally going to fly and continue with your simming. You should notice that your have water reflections, aircraft reflections, and even sharper ground textures. As I said before it's not your video card it's most likely a problem with FS2002.Give it a try and see if it work for you :-hahNick :-abducthttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d1e76225484d1f5.jpg

>As I said before it's not your video card it's most likely a >problem with FS2002. Hi Nick,Thanks for posting your results and your "back door" fix, I have seen you post this info before and if we can verify its effectiveness on other GF4mx machines it might give us a clue as to what can be fixed. :)At this time I cant agree with you that it is a strictly FS2k2 problem since it appears that only the GF4MX cards suffer from this, but in simple terms you might be right.Would you mind posting your Fs2k2 display.cfg so we can compare? And if any of you GF2 users wouldn't mind could you also post your fs2k2 Display.cfg? Thanks,
