Can someone explain why FS2000 planes' reversers don't

Hi allI've been trying to understand why aircraft like PSS 747-400, Dreamfleet 737 etc that were designed for FS2000 have non-working thrust reverser buckets in FS2002.Funny thing is, when I used PSS 747-400 in FS2002 using the "work-around" and not the new patch that Phoenix provided, they worked fine!Is is really SO difficult to get them to work? Does anyone know what actually needs modifying?By the way, I couldn't even design a paper plane let alone the works of art that these very talented guys come up with, but I'm just curious!Cheers

You can get them working by using the spoilers before reverse.

Thanks Camille... didn't ever try that. Does it work with PSS & Dreamfleet? And should I arm the spoilers first before hitting reverse?
