Genuine purchaser denied access to update

Recommended Posts

Gents,I appreciate all the efforts you've made to make this upgrade accessible. I've waited patiently since Sunday morning to gain access to the download file. However, tonight I received this message when clicking on the link I was sent... You are not authorized to view this pageI'm not sure what's going on. Can someone please enlighten me?Thanks.

Ray-Take a stroll through the NOTAMS pinned to the top... we've had the server shut down for maintenance almost continually since about 1000Z...We've discovered some significant problems with our shoppingcart that become evident when the server is placed under high loads- so we have a host of experts working behind the scenes to put it back on it's feet. ;-)When things are running effectively again- we'll certainly post a big notam...Thanks for your patience, Ray...

Robert,Thanks for the news and the pointer. I had become used to the "Server unavailable due to too many accessing the site" message but this was a new one. Hence my message. I had hoped things would have quietened down after 48 hours but obviously not.I'll continue to monitor the site and keep my fingers crossed. Hope you chaps make it home for Christmas! ;-)Cheers,

What about sending new links for all the people, and only send them out to 100 or 200 people, since your monitoring you can tell how many people successfully download, then you can send another 100 to 200 emails that way there is not a huge rush of people trying to download and is creating a traffic jam, why not put a stop light and you control it so the traffic flows smoothly. This is the best way I think, too many people are trying to download it at once, and there are many people who do not listen and keep hitting the refresh key over and over again, and they have auto refeshs. This really bogs the system down. I have been trying since Sunday and I understand the problems, no ones fault, I just think there is a way to fix it and do it better, because the way we are going, I will probably won't be able to download until next week!AdamSpilot692000@yahoo.comKeep up the great work!
