Loud noise from Gear Lever?

Not sure what im doing wrong here, upon advancing the throttles takeoff or any other time, i get the a loud beeping noise.It goes away after the gear is retracted...and doesnt come back until AFTER i have landed.Thrusting up for taxi speed causes the sound as well.what should I do...AND!!!!!!!! Does anyone know how to turn off the darn "FLYING TIPS" window ???ThanksHappy Holidays

Hehe, flying tips are in the FS menu, cannot recall which menu page, but there are not many you will see a checkbox. Ummm sounds like you are not configured correctly for takeoff. I ve searched all over for the flying tips in various menus...I'll keep looking!And its sounds like I dont have the trim set correctly..Suppose thats causing that noise.Im thinking this is a new feature.ANyway .. Thanks Randy!

I believe the flying tips are on the realism page.Chris

I think if the realism is set to easy thats when you get the flying tips.Keith
