AIRCRAFT INITIALIZATION FAILURE

Recommended Posts

Guest wraith

So I get SU2, install it, and install all of the other navdata and necessary files. A few days go by and I feel like flyin. So I go try to open up FS9 and I GET THIS! "AIRCRAFT INITIALIZATION FAILURE BOEING 737-700WL"Then FS9 Crashes. I've tried uninstalling and restarting, then installing, and restarting. I looked for any trace of file of PMDG while it was uninstalled and deleted them. Tried to start FS9, still has the same error message even with the plane uninstalled. So I can't fly anything! #####?! Someone please help.

aloha wraith. i think what happened was that when you had SU1 installed, you probably had FS2004 start with the BOEING 737-700WL. when you uninstalled SU1 and installed SU2, FS2004 is looking for the BOEING 737-700WL. delete your FS9.cfg and FS2004 will create a new one for you. this is one of the reasons why it's important to startup with the default cessna, just in case you get rid of an aircraft, FS2004 doesn't come up with that message. hope this helps you out.
