I have a linksys cable/dsl router and I am able to do this without a hitch.I will pass the info on in sec I just gotta find it. Its a matter of port forwarding to the internal IP of your PC. I am not sure if your router supports this but I believe it should in any case. There is a microsoft article on this, one sec.....ah ok found it....http://support.microsoft.com/search/previe...b;en-us;Q240429Just forward these ports to your IP and it'll work.TAKE NOTE THOUGH!!! This does open your PC up to potential problems, if soneone comes along with malicious intent. ie wanting to access your PC. Just pay attention to what is going on all the time, and be careful about what you download, AND RUN ANTIVIRUS!!!But I do it, I am ok, I just do routine checks for viruses, and check ports on the router, as you should do anyway.HAVE FUN and if you have questions please ask. I will help in any way I can!!LAterhttp://www.forefrontgrp.com/jayssig.jpg"There is an art . . . to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss!"

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have read the article you've sent. I also found out that MSFS uses DX7 method:-------------------------DirectPlay Lobbyable Apps-------------------------Flight Simulator 2002 (DX7) - Registry: OK, ExeFile: FS2002.EXE (8.00.00.10919)So, according to the article, I should define 204(!) ports (using my ADSL router NAT utility). Please correct me if I am wrong here. How ever, my router enables me to define only 32 ports....So unless I am wrong, I am have here a problem...Ideas?Thanks in advance,SF :-zhelp >I have a linksys cable/dsl router and I am able to do this >without a hitch. >>I will pass the info on in sec I just gotta find it. I have tried to post it once, and failed. Here I try again:Hi Jason,Thanks for your reply.I took your advice, and read MS KBQ240429. I found that MSFS2k@ uses DX7 method:-------------------------DirectPlay Lobbyable Apps-------------------------Flight Simulator 2002 (DX7) - Registry: OK, ExeFile: FS2002.EXE (8.00.00.10919)So, according to the article, I guess I have to define 204(!) ports. Is that so? Am I mistaken here?I tried to do so on my ADSL Alcatel-Pro router (using the NAT utlity), and failed to define over 32 ports!!!So if I am not wrong regarding the number of ports to define, I might have a problem here...Advice?Thanks in advance,SF :-zhelp >I have a linksys cable/dsl router and I am able to do this >without a hitch. >>I will pass the info on in sec I just gotta find it.
