Hi Doug,I bought the full Boeing package - Glass Cockpit, MCP and CDU (FMC). Expensive but as it can be used with many aircraft the 747MCP is never idle. It does require a second PC for best results though - I'm running everything on a single PC with dual monitors at the moment and it really hits the frame rates.I should also say I have a lot of the GoFlight modules - two GF166s, two GF-P8s, a GF-T8 and GF-LGT. these control the radios as well as many standard aircraft controls like flaps, lights, fuel flow and engine starts. I've never bought the autopilot module for obvious reasons.Cheers,

Thanks Ray - I was hoping to get away with just the MCP/Enhanced Autopilot for running the MCP747 - the conversion rate for Aus dollars still bites...I've got a similar set up to your own - with dual monitors - although I only use the second one for FSNav.Cheers.....Doug

Doug,You don't have to buy the whole package (I think). The system is modular but the total of the individual components exceeds the price for the combined package. You might not need the Glass Cockpit - maybe the MCP and CDU would suffice but why not contact Enrico and ask? You could save yourself a lot of dosh.Time for bed over here!Cheers,

Hi,Do you mean that Go Flight MCP will work with Project Magenta MCP? Would like to know. If that would be possible that would change things. I have a dual monitor + 2 PC's network connected with registered WideFS.Cheers

Hi,Do you mean that Go Flight MCP will work with Project Magenta MCP?Well it will for default FS2004 aircraft but not with specialist autopilots such as those found in the PMDG737 or 767PIC.I suggest if you have more questions about PM you post them on their newsgroup which you can find here www.projectmagenta.com. Click on the Newsgroup link at the top of the screen.Cheers,

Guest G.Baron

Well I've just installed and configurated my new pedestal which includes the GF-MCP Advanced Autopilot and other GF-modules. Except for the GF-MCP everythingelse works fine. I guess I'll have to forget about using the PMDG737NG and going to fly with freeware cockpits which in most cases are using the standard MS-Autopilot.During the Flightsim-conf. in Padererborn PMDG gave me the impression that the are going to talk to GoFlight but, this seams to be a misunderstanding or marketing blaaa .... blaaa.Nevertheless, wishing all of you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.Cheers, Guenther ( EDDK )
