Yes. Try www.fsbuild.com There are two versions, one free and another pay. Also, www.fsnavigator.com has a software called FS Navigator, which includes facilities to flightplan. FS Navigator is payware.

I use FsNavigator to produce my flightplans for the PMDG 737. You can export the information to PMDG or FS2004 format as well.RegardsAdam Moore

Hi Andrew,If you have not done so already, I encourage you to make use of the search function and you will surely find several threads talking about flightplans and arguing what is mostly used and why.Having said that, I am surprised there were so few users recommending FSBuild. This is more than a planner, in fact it includes so many tools that it is a complete dispatcher. Not only you can either build routes or use tens of thousand of stored routes but you can also get real time weather datas included in your plan and of course export your flight plans to many of the best addon-aircrafts including PMDG. Fuel calculations are right spot on and winds are reproduced accurately. http://www.fsbuild.com/.FSNavigator has also been mentioned. It is a nice moving map tool. To be mentioned also must be: FOC (Flight Operation Center) from Dannur which is also an excellent tool http://www.danur.com/FOCmain.htm. However, not easy to master especially when it comes to aircraft configurations. Finally if you have the financial means to buy a professional tool then there is FliteStar from Jeppesen http://www.jeppesen.com. Here the learning curve is very steep but when mastered it can be used for simulation as well as real life flight planning. You will also find several web sites offering on line flight planning. Some are free such as http://rfinder.asalink.net/ or http://www.pmflightplanner.com/ and quite good actually. This list is far from exhaustive and it is in most case a personal choice depending on what you are looking for ie. close to real flight plans, moving maps, dispatchers etc...Finally, bear in mind that without a comprehensive plannig of route, weather, fuel, weight etc... your flight or flying experience will be very limited. It also requires you to read and have on hand the necessary charts for any flight but that is surely another issue.DISCLAIMER:The above reflects only a personal opinion and was written without any intend to offend or criticize any individual or company including PMDG.Michael

I recently tested FSBuild (free version) and found 2 huge advantages to this program:1) it's the only flight planner I know of that can create all the actual plan files in a single click. I build for FS, FSNav, PSS, PMDG and Squawkbox. This is VERY convenient.2) PSS and PMDG plans are actually built with airways names and exit WP, instead of just the list of WP (like FSNav does). On the bad side, the user interface is awkward, and from screenshots, the payware version seems not really better. But it does the job right and the price is right as well :-)Eric L.
