WOW!!! my NG review here!! I have never been so exctied about an add-on in my entire life!

As many of you may know me in the past, I get rather excited sometimes. And I can get aggravated and frustrate people too. I really have not been vocal over the last 2 years on any forms because I am just too darn busy at home or at work where I am on the road flying many days a month. However, since purchasing the NG, I have had some trouble with conflicts with what I thought was fsuipc and pfc.dll. You all were a great help, and I eventually blew away my pfc controls, the dll (which has reaked havoc at my home for 2 years now...might just be my comm port..i dunno) and reformated my drive. reinstalled fs9 on a new winxp setup.. and then the NG. Nothing else but active camera.MY LIFE HAS CHANGED FOREVER. I have been using the NG SU2 for 2 weeks now in silence. Watching for crash to desktops (had them before), lockups or fs9 errors (note, I have never saved any situations since my new instal of fs9 and the NG..i just choose previous flight from the menus- i know this has caused fs to not work properlly when using the ng...so now, I clearly don't save any situations, in fact, i disabled that ability on the control assignments!! haha..so I wouldn't do what i normally do every time I fly... save a startup sit, no more!! and no problems!)THIS PRODUCT RUNS FLAWLESSLY!!! In two weeks of testing, leaving it on with the plane sitting on a ramp for up to 36 hours, no slowdowns, lockups or CTDs.. perfection!I have a 2.5 year old 1.5 P4 with 512 megs RDRAM and a new WinXP installation and a Radeon 9700 pro. I have manually cropped my approach panel removing the side post so I can "slide" my panel down lower to allow a much more realistic viewpoint over the front. Also, my panel config has a view_forward_dir=7.5 now, and that is better than the default value from PMDG. I digress. I am in heaven... and love the PMDG NG... It runs so nice, frame rates with my settings in the 2d version only are 20+ everywhere.. and the gauges are set to 25... and smooth and stutter free... I dunno how you guys did this (Robert ...thank you !!) but this it clearly....and I state...THE FINEST JETLINER SIMULATION ADDON EVER CREATED. I HAVE NEVER PURCHASED A HIGHER QUALITY AIRPLANE ADDON IN MY LIFE.If I were still doing reviews online, It would be a 97% so far...I am going to feature this in an upcoming article I am doing on flying jets in Computer Pilot mag....It is the only add-on I am using now... and I can hardly believe you're modeling the entire 744 in the same quality. It has made what FLY!! did for airliner nuts like me, now come to FS... and the entire experience is far superior!!I just want to thank the entire PMDG team, and hope you are getting tons of praise here. Your price, for the quality is honestly a bargain. I am sure others using this successfully even on low end machines lkike mine are saying, this is worth hundreds of dollars more than we paid.I need a new machine, jsut for the PMDG NG!! haha... I'd love that.happy flying all... and I'll be diving into the FMS soon.Your friend and happy customer... Peter James (I'LL be posting some ideas an flight modeling tweaks I found might be handy soon....with reverse thrust power needing more ummmph... but easitly editable)

I'm in perfect agreement about this awesome addon, can't wait to see the BBJ version... What 767PIC was to FS2000, PMDG 737NG is to FS2k4.Dillon--

Peter, you summed up my feelings exactly. Like I've said in other posts, I've been "playing" with FS for many, many years but the PMDG 737 has prompted me to really dig into the systems, procedures etc. I'm having a ball. I fly a couple hours per evening on average and don't believe I have spent more than 30 minutes total on anything but the 737 since the day it was released.
