Glareshield question

Recommended Posts

Hello Pilots, Is the glareshield on the 737 serrated on the left side above the Warning and EFIS panels or is it just a computer limitation in drawing an angled line? Just curious.Bob Kellett"I've never seen an airplane yet that can read the type ratings on your pilot's license."

"Is the glareshield on the 737 serrated on the left side above the Warning and EFIS panels or is it just a computer limitation in drawing an angled line?"It depends on how old the aircraft is.... The sun starts to crack the vinyl after a few years ;-)Cheers.Ian.

It is a small detail and it is up to whoever does the panel graphics to clean it up (or not) - as he sees fit. No, it is not computer limitation - it could look perfect (see Flight1's Meridian).Michael J.
