Recommended Posts

Greetings! I didn't see this on the first couple of pages in the forum, so I thought I'd post the info. Espen has redone his wonderful FS2K panel to be compatible with FS2K2 Pro! Here's the link to his www site. The file is available here and at the....errrr....you know, that *other* place with the perpetually busy nodes. Here's the link:http://home.c2i.net/fokker50/news.htm (click on downloads on the left for listing of sites the fils has been uploaded to)and the file name is ef50v30.zipEnjoy all! Downloading as I write this...Regards,Scott (KJMS)

Just wanted to chime in here and thank these folks for updating my favorite flyer. I own nearly every commercial release for FS2002, and I still find this Fokker 50 setup to be my favorite. Thanks.

in trying to get it started !!!! :-rollYes, I did read the manual...well, at least the part about what switches are where and how to start the engines... but to no avail so far. :-( This one is difficult !!!I used to fly the FS2000 one, so I knew I was in for a treat...but... has something changed in FS2002??? Where is my APU ?? :-lol And can somebody get that cart out of the way standing in front of the plane.... once I do start the engine I might overrun it !!! :-outta Francois :-wave

"At home in the wild"[link:avsim.com/alaska/alaska_051.htm|Don's Alaskan Bush Charters]"Beavers Lead the Way"[link:www.avsim.com/vfr_center/mainpages/vfr_flights_main_page.htm]VFR Flight Center]"Looking Good Outside"

http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gifhttp://www.fssupport.com/images/moose2.gif

________________________Francois A. I just rechecked my Fokker 50, and with regards to the APU, i was refering to the graphical representation Tim.. I need to spend a little more time on this one (and perhaps i should really browse the manual too!!!)Rgdshttp://www.avsim.com/vfr_center/avsim_sig.jpg

I dabbled with it a while ago, and had real problems flying the thing. This is not the easiest panel to use, and basic things like rate of climb and speed hold seemed to elude me ! I've just installed Version 3, so maybe when I've got a spare weekend I'll have another go at mastering it.You can see why real pilots are type-rated on only a few models !
