Just before midnight last night the 2 aircraft were involved in a Mid-air collision at FL390 over Southern Germany/North Switzerland. The DHL 757 was flying the nightly rotation Barhain-Bergamo-Brussels and the TU154 was operating Moscow-Munich-Barcelona. Initial reports say 70 pax were killed on the Russian jet and 2 crew (English Captain and Canadian FO) on the 757. The TU-154 did not have TCAS and ATC instructions to descend were not acknowledged by the Russian crew.More info here:- http://www.airdisaster.com/news/0702/02/news3.shtmlRegardsTim
