Project Magenta and PMDG 737

Featured Replies

I use four computers, four monitors and the Project Magenta glass cockpit with the Boeing CDU and GoFlight throttle and panels to fly the default 737, all under the control of Radar Contact. It's a great setup and makes flying realy fun. What I was wondering is, what would be the advantages of getting the PMDG 737NG, since I wouldnt be using the cockpit, 2d or vc, nor would I be stepping outside the plane much to admire it in flight???It would be nice, I guess, to have anohter monitor overhead to display the overhead panel and to go through all startup procedures.Any thoughts ont he subject, anyone???John WNewburgh, IN

As Tim stated, You would get the overhead & Throttle pedestal. You could also use the Approach panel as it doesn't show any instuments and give a pretty accurate view over the glare shield. You get the External models which are fantastic (imho) and a flight model that puts the Default 737 to shame.Regards Paul Gollnick :-cool Technical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg
