does it work on windows 2000 pro? I really want to purchase

Featured Replies

hi,has anyone tried it on windows 2000 yet? Does it work? I would like to buy it but don't want to buy and find out it doesent work. The 600/700 work fine on windows 2000 but what about the 800/900?Andrew

Hi Andrew,One of the beta testers were running it on Windows 2000 Pro with SP3 so I guess it is doable. The thing is that PMDG support will only support the NG on FS9 and Windows XP.Hope it helps,

EDIT-Thanks for the reply Art! :-) I'll purchase. Thanks, I'll think about it before purchasing, dont want the 800/900 to end up costing me $22.95 plus the purchase of windows xp on the other hand I suppose XP would be a good upgrade from windows 2000 anyway lol.

it does work with windows 2000 pro, definetly !!!!i am running win2000 pro with SP4 and i did not observe any flaws yet, even the 600/700 seem to work more smoothly now (even though the models haven't been updated yet).must be a side effect of the new panel that seems to use less memory.
