Lower EICAS display

Recommended Posts

It says in the manual, "The lower display unit will only display data if you have selected either ENG or SYS from the lower DU selector panel located on the main panel." The problem is, the selector panel is not functioning. I can't get the switch to move. Am I missing something?Dave FisherCYYZP4 2.8 GB 478P 533 MHZ CPUP4P800S Asus Motherboard512 DDRGeforce Ti 4200/128Maxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HDhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

This depends Dave on the airline slected. SWA does not have it so you will see INOP on the SYS ENG buttons. Select a config like WEST JET from the PMDG menu. Rightclick on the EICAS to pop up the lower then push either SYS-ENG. That's it![h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. You need to use the PFD/ND display option in order for the lower DU to work. In EFIS/MAP it will be inoperative.

Marc, I have the gauges setup as you requested, PFD/ND and EICAS set to over/under. When I move the mouse over the DU selector it dosen't turn into a hand, it's not clickable.Dave FisherCYYZP4 2.8 GB 478P 533 MHZ CPUP4P800S Asus Motherboard512 DDRGeforce Ti 4200/128Maxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HDhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

When you say DU selector, which button are you talking about?Look for the two small buttons next to each other right above the EICAS screen labeled ENG and SYS. Click on either one of them and then check out the lower DU, it should be operative now.
