Hi Bob,This has been talked about quite a lot in other technical forums. The service has some side-effects when enabled (as it is by default) in that it can drastically slow down your reboot speeds. I have yet to hear a clear answer from Nvidia or anyone else as to the exact functions of this service. Many (including me) have indeed disabled this service. But some have also reported instability after doing so (I'm not one of them). I've disabled the service on many of my shop computers to test its effect as well and nothing outstanding happens. I don't use those machines often however since they are floor models, so YMMV as usual. For most people, I'd recommend keeping it enabled. If you are adventurous though, go for it. Just be prepared to re-enable it if you have any stability problems.Good luck,http://members.rogers.com/eelvish/elrondlogo.gifhttp://members.rogers.com/eelvish/flyurl.gif
