VNAV disconnect on descent

During a descent into LAX following the Palmdale approach to 24R, I recieved a VNAV disconnect at about FL150. I attempted to re-engage VNAV but no luck. What would cause a disconnect? Dave,What was the message given from the FMC for the VNAV disconnect?Can you send us the complete flightplan you used?Thanks,

Thanks Anthony, that post explained it.
