Gooper,(you need to sign your posts on this forum)I believe the NG doesn't have auto tune because the real one doesn't.

The real one does not autotune in the ILS, you must manually tune both NAVS for the approach as the NG app checks require.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Hi,Why tune the both raidos in? In FS 2004, contrary to FS2002, the 737-700 PFD indicates "SINGLE CH" land, although both autopilots are armed and NAV radios are tuned. Is this normal? Is the yellow flashing of G/S and vertical deviation indicators at PFD around 1500 ft AGL anything to do with the fact that AP is execut,ng a SINGLE CH autoland?CheersMusashi

Why yes it is completely normal and corrected from the previous 600-700 modelling. On a dual approach once one pushes the APP button they should also ARM the second A/P. Now arming is just that, it does not engage at this time so when does the real one engage? Well it does not always engage at even G/S capture but will engage when the aircraft is passing through 1500' RA. The single channel is removed checkes are preformed (yellow flashing) and the second A/P is engaged.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. MusashiThe new upgrade have changed the behaviour to match the real NG. When activating a dual commmand approach/landing. The second A/P will only arm until 1500ft RA. Below 1500ft RA you will see a CMD when both A/P kicks in. The falshing of the G/S and LOC dev bars this is also as per the real NG. I think, but I may be wrong here, that this is a test and alert that the dual autoland is kicking in.Hope it helps,
