Hi All,I would like to know which numbers I should change to close the gap on the wingviews for the -800 (see Picture). I think I need to move outboard a litle bit ;-)I am currently using the following on the panel config://*************************WINGVIEWS*************************VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=20,21,22,23,24VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=3.5,0.0,0.0VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_WINDOWS=30VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_DIR=1.7, 0.0, 45VIEW_RIGHT_WINDOWS=34VIEW_RIGHT_DIR=2.4, 0.0, 90VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_WINDOWS=35VIEW_REAR_WINDOWS=36VIEW_REAR_LEFT_WINDOWS=33VIEW_LEFT_WINDOWS=32VIEW_LEFT_DIR=2.6, 0.0, 270VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_WINDOWS=31VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_DIR=2.7, 0.0, 315VIEW_DOWN_WINDOWS=37VIEW_DOWN_DIR=11.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=39 // RIGHT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 105VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=-1.80, -0.25,-14.00VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=40 // LEFT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 255VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=2.90, -0.25, -14.00VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=41 // LEFT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=10.00, 00.00, 224VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=-1.10, 0.00, -3.75VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=42 // RIGHT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_DIR=10.0, 0.00, 136VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=2.10, 0.00, -3.75//*************************WINGVIEWS*************************http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/73927.jpgThanks in advance,

Hi,After spending about 3 hours searching all the sub forums here on Avsim, then experimenting, I finally figured out how to do this. Below Is what I have done for the 700, 800 and B1900. I haven't gotten around to the 900 yet.737-700VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=39 // RIGHT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 105VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=-1.80, -0.25,-14.00 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=40 // LEFT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 255VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=2.90, -0.25, -14.00VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=41 // LEFT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=10.00, 00.00, 224VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=-1.10, 0.00, -3.75VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=42 // RIGHT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_DIR=10.0, 0.00, 136VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=2.10, 0.00, -3.75737-800VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=39 // RIGHT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 105VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=-2.40, -0.25,-19.00 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=40 // LEFT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 255VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=3.50, -0.25, -19.00VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=41 // LEFT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=10.00, 00.00, 224VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=-1.10, 0.00, -6.75VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=42 // RIGHT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_DIR=10.0, 0.00, 136VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=2.10, 0.00, -6.75B1900DVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=39 // RIGHT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 105VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=0.30, -0.25,-5.00 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=40 // LEFT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.00, 0.00, 255VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.50, -0.25, -5.00VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=41 // LEFT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=8.00, 00.00, 244VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.30, 0.00, -2.0VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=42 // RIGHT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_DIR=8.0, 0.00, 116VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=0.50, 0.00, -2.0Finally, here's a short guide to help make some sense of some of these numbers:In the "EYE" line, the first three numbers separated by commas indicate your eyepoint relative to aircraft fuselage. The numbers are for respectively Lateral, Vertical and Longitudinal position. The "DIR" line indicate degrees of inclination on the previous three position. Think of DIR as Direction. You can now adjust the numbers to your liking. With the B1900, simply choose another airplane, then reload the B1900 for your changes to take effect. With the NG however, everytime I select another airplane then select the NG again, FS crashes to the desktop. So you'll have to exit FS, then reload FS to see changes in the NG.Hope this helped you.

Hy Edward,I use the numeric keypad and the following combination:5 + 9 or 7 + 5 to view the wings from the cockpit;5 + 1 or 5 + 3 to view the wings as a passenger;I hit those keys simultaneously (spell??.. :) )You can also use as alternative SHIFT+CTRL plus 1, 3, 7, 9 on the numeric keypad.Best regards,

Thanks for these guys! They are excellent - one problem is that I can't see my wings in the "VC" model, just the lights! I can see them in VC + Cabin and in 2D. Any ideas???Regards,Ian Bowden.

Paste it in the { VIEWS } section in your Panel.cfg for the respective aircraft. Just paste it at the bottom of the other views instructions.
