Lower EICAS not working?

Recommended Posts

Guest steven van leeuwen

Hi all!First of all, great work that 737-800/900 update!!Only I have one question: How can I get the Lower EICAS working? On this forum I saw a couple of screenshots where the lower EICAS was working, but which setting I use, it just won't work. The lower EICAS stays 'cold & dark'. It would be very nice to check the flight controls on the lower EICAS.Regards,Steven

Hi StevenFirt of all you have to activate the function in the PMDG menue. There you'll find a function called the upper/lower EICAS. Activate that! Than you can use the ENG and SYS buttons on to of the upper EICAS screen to choose the functions of the lower one.To see the lower EICAS screen in the 2D cockpit just make a right click in the upper EICAS screen.I hope this helps...CheersMartin

Steven,Go to PMDG/737NG/Styles/EICAS and set Over/Under to on.Return to 2D view and right click on upper Eicas.Lower Eicas screen will appear.Use "ENG" and "SYS" buttons in MFD control just above upper EICAS screen to control display.David.

Hi Guys ...Is there a bug with this, I find the eng/sys buttons sometimes get confused and eng becomes sys and vice versa ... ?Not sure if this is a bug or just me ... lol :)

This only happens when you push one and do not push it once again to turn it off but insted push the other one. i.e. push SYS then push ENG. So you want to display SYS push it and then push it again to close then push ENG... Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
