Take off charts in kgs and meters

Recommended Posts

Guest rellehenk

HiI am using the take off performance charts that came with the PMDG737, unfortunately all the data is in lbs and feet. As I fly with kilograms and calculating the runway length in meters I would prefer to have this charts also in kgs en meters. PMDG, will you publish this charts in the future or does somebody know where I can find the tables in kgs/meters?ThanksRegards,

Never heard of anywhere where you can obtain in metric, however I think that would be good. Try using google to convert in the meantime (i know it's tedious). Say eg. '1000 pounds to kilos' and it'll convert ;)Geoffrey BaleanCanberra, AU (YSCB)http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg http://www.vozvirtual.org/images/pmdgforumsignature.png"Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. I have the -600/700 and in my initial read through the manuals the only weight I could find was in kgs. (In fact, I made a forum posting whining about this and asking for one in lbs until I stumbled across another chart that was in lbs.) I cannot put my hands on the kg chart I found then, but I suggest you look through all the available charts as I know it was there. (I have no idea if this is true for the -800/900).Roger Curtiss

Be aware that the instructions PMDG provides in that document are incorrect. I've written several forum postings on this as well as emailed PMDG's support contact address, but they don't seem interested in fixing it.You are probably better off using the charts found here:http://www.boeing.com/assocproducts/aircom...ps/737wsec3.pdfAt least you will be able to get the information in kg/meters if you want to.Don S.
