Making the autopilot set my altitude

I cannot enable either 'alt hold' or 'change level' when setting an altitude while in AP mode - I have looked at the manual but no luck -can anybody help me please?

Hi Philip,I wuld be glad to help but please give an explanation of what exactly you are doing. What FMA annunciations do you have on the top line of the PFD and what do you have set in the MCP.Tks,

Many thanks for you reply - it was my fault, I was using the panel in the FS2004 LearjetI am now using the correct aircraft (737-900) and it works perfecrlyOnce again, many thanks, Philip Norris
