July 22, 200421 yr I was wondering if there are special keyboard commands for this 737 NG? Like keyboard presses that bring up all the panels. I noticed that there is a 'gray rectangle' with letters in it refering to the panels, but what are the keyboard commands? Thanks, Waldo.
July 22, 200421 yr waldo, try shift and the numbers 1 to 9. phil Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
July 22, 200421 yr There are keyboard commands for everything else though! Using the SHIFT + routine is not the best way to change views with this bird since some have reported issues in doing it that way. The panel switcher works very well. Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. July 23, 200421 yr Commercial Member Randy-the Panel Switcher (that "grey area") also has keyboard commands for it. Check it out in the Keyboard Handler. Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com

July 23, 200421 yr Author I have found these 'SHF + #' keyboard presses to be a bit weird. Most, if not all views, are available in both the 2D and VC modes and some display in front of or behind others. When using the 'gray rectangular view bar with letters' this multiple display doesn't happen, which leads me to believe that for some panels more than one 'SHF + #' key press is sent to the simulator. This 'gray rectangular view bar with letters' works ok, but is positioned in different places depending on the panel shown. In 2D wide it's behind the 'red brakes on' message making it difficult to use because the brakes have to be released to use it. I'll try programming my HOTAS to get these views/panels to display properly today. Anyway, any ideas, suggestions and knowledge is welcome.Waldo

July 23, 200421 yr Simple solution.......in the menu at the top of the screen where you go to select aircraft, views, modules, etc.....you should see a new menu there called "PMDG". Through that menu you should be able to access keyboard commands for a number of PMDG NG functions, including MCP buttons, the different panels, opening and closing doors, pushback, etc. When you've set them up the way you want them, they are saved to the "737kbd" file in the PMDG folder in your main FS folder. Just back up that file, so that if you have to re-install the NG, you can just replace that file and get back all your key commands that you set up.It's amazing to me, the number of PMDG NG users that haven't a clue about the existence of the PMDG menu and the wealth of options that exists in there.
July 23, 200421 yr Yeah. I can't but second you Anthony. This phenomenon is probably caused by too little RTFM! Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
