Sorry! More GoFlight+PMDG questions here...?!

Recommended Posts

I am still a newbie to PMDG 737-600 and also just installed more GoFlight stuff. I now have the GF MCP, the GF-T8, and the GF-P8 and plan to get the GF radios next. I am trying to determine in particular if the GF MCP will work properly and accurately with the PMDG bird. I am not entirely clear about how to program for GF hardware with FSUIPC (I have the registered version). I've read some threads in the Search function here and it seems the MCP may not work ever work properly with the PMDG 737. Is that correct or not?Sorry to be a bore on what is probably a well-worn topic by now, but I would appreciate any advice or guidance. Thanks !Jonathan Sacks

Hi Jonathan,This is correct to an extent. You can get MCP functionality but the LED's will not follow the displays on the PMDG MCP. I just ignore this small annoyance and look up at my MCP on screen. To do the programming you will need to print off the PMDG key command listing under the PMDG menu in FS. Then you simply do the programming in FSUIPC under buttons. Look in your FSUIPC download folder for an extensive user manual explaining all of this.Regards,
