My system is about the same as yours and I'm almost maxed out on everything. I get no stuttering at all.Nick B.Continental Airlines Virtual 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Well, I used my RAM from my old computer so it's only PC2100. If you just buy a 512 PC3200, that should equal 1 gig of PC2100Nick B.Continental Airlines Virtual 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Chad,I'd recommend you make that PC3200 RAM so it can run in sync with the system bus. Also buy your RAM in pairs, so if it's 1gb you want then two sticks of same speed 512mb RAM is great. Also, if you haven't already bought the AIW9800, then don't, unless you are planning to watch TV on your PC. The AIW is the by far the best solution for the PC-TV enthusiast but if you're not going to use it's TV Tuner features then the extra cost is just a waste and older AIW's faltered on performance tho not so much the case with the 9800 chipset, you may want to spend the extra cash on a 256mb card instead.Nick512mb of PC3200 does not equal 1gb of PC2100. Not even performance wise. Memory unfortunately is not just easily comparable like that. ;)Cheers,Terence

I recommend 1 gig of the fastest RAM you can get! Also use Windows XP (sp1) and Directx 9.0b or 9.0c, depending on your choice of video card drivers! Also, check out these sites for more information. http://forums.guru3d.com/ http://www.rage3d.com/board/index.php http://forums.devhardware.com/ http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/ http://www.cpudatabase.com/CPUdb/Waldo
