Landing gear and TCAS on 737

Recommended Posts

Guest orangeneil

I have a problem with two issues. In the 2D display, the landing gear lever always shows the down position, this happens whether the gear is raised or lowered. And when using the TCAS system, no symbols appear on the display, only the word "Traffic" and an aural warning, i have tried to use the "test" option, but the switch will not work.Your help would be appreciated.

I can't help you with your first question. To get the traffic displayed on the TCAS, you have to click the range knob on the EICAS. It says Traffic (I think). Once you click it, "TFC" will sho up in blue on the display unit, and you should see traffic. Also, you should check under the options in the PMDG menu to see if "Display non-conflicting traffic" option is checked. Bill
