HELP FS2002 Crashes

Recommended Posts

Guest

I'm wondering if anyone can help me. Lately while playing FS2002 my computer crashes after about 2-5 minutes of sim time. All I hear is a high pitched tone coming from my computer case? I have FS2002 running on a Athlon 1400,512mb ddr ram, 40gig hd, with a live value sound card and a Nvidia 3Dforce2 MX-64 4XAGP video card. (I'm running WindowsXP). I've updated all the drivers and reinstalled FS2002 and defragmented my HD. Also I've got Norton Antivirus 2002 installed. the weird thing is my computer never used to have any trouble with FS2002. I've checked my HD for problems but nothing; all other games play normally? Can anyone help me? S Piper.....

Might be overheating -- check your bios for your CPU temp.

I have almost the exact same computer and I had the same problem, only most all my sims would freeze up...finally installed new memory and that fixed it...
