October 2, 200421 yr The MD-11 is the only one I was looking and hoping for!!!!!!!!! The most beautifull and power full aircraft ever build (IMO)!!! Spring has never been so far away... ;-)
October 2, 200421 yr Heh-History repeats itself...Boeing gets McDonell Douglas again...:-bigangel Derek
October 2, 200421 yr I would also like to add that the addition of the new members allows us to develop two large aircraft simultaneously, as the core development teams are different... so if anything the addition of these two decreases the time it will take us to make the next airplane following the 744... such as a 777!Sincerely,
October 2, 200421 yr HiCongrats to Bill G on his accension to payware.Although I have no interest in a payware Tri and won`t be in the market for anything in this class I do have the upmost respect for his efforts as I did for another freeware maven named Eric who`s contributions opened the door for the flood of payware that we see today.Troy
October 2, 200421 yr Troy,Thank you. That was extremely nice of you to say. But... you might be denying yourself a very good time by restricting yourself so.Bill
October 2, 200421 yr It is always a pity to see that whatever you do in the flightsim community, you raise critisms.Bill did a wonderful work with the panels he did as freewares. This is his right to decide to release the MD11 as a payware and i would say more, regarding the level that this aircraft would reach (Looking to the screenshots on the Nordic forums) he certainly needs the support of a company like PMDG. and we, the customers, will get a better aircraft for not so much money.Congratulations to all the team and good luck to Bill in this new challenge.Jean-CharlesSorry for my english but I'am french (Nobody's perfect!)
October 2, 200421 yr I cannot believe NOBODY yet has read into what a PMDG developer stated above!! From what I can tell, this is the first hint DIRECTLY from PMDG that my (and many others) prayers have been answered about a PMDG 777!Marc Harrington wrote:I would also like to add that the addition of the new members allows us to develop two large aircraft simultaneously, as the core development teams are different... so if anything the addition of these two decreases the time it will take us to make the next airplane following the 744... such as a 777!Bill G: Congrats on your move to payware. I look forward to flying her in Delta and Fedex liveries. From what I understand from reading real world exerpts, she is a bit## to land with a capital B! Eric
October 2, 200421 yr So it's true that everything you say here can and will be used agains you LOL ;)Cheers,Ian Udingahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
October 2, 200421 yr I don't know how to take that:-hmmm Either a dig on me or a compliment. Guess the ole' brain is not as astute as I think. Eric
October 3, 200421 yr Why not build an A330. Even if you start in a year or so you will beat the current developers of an A330, who were to release nearly 10 months ago but have thrown up every reason in the book (and some not in the book) why it is still 'under development', by a country mile. October 3, 200421 yr Well they (PMDG) stated a few times (maybe you missed it) that they do not have any access to Airbus like they do with Boeing so development would not be on par with the goals needed to develope at the level PMDG likes to do. It's not that some of us don't have a ton of material it's just more than this is needed. But the Airbus is not totally out of the question but certainly not any time in the near future..Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Animation1.gifCaution! October 3, 200421 yr Well each his own but IMO it's one thing to download aircraft 100s of times all for free and then rub a developer because he wants some compensation for his quality work. I spend more money on ciggs and soda than I have ever on all the add-ons on my computer. I suppose the fs comumnity owes freebies?Best Wishes,
Randy J.
