Veering taking off...

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow simmers, I am pondering the possibility that the veering I often experience when taking off is not due to winds but to a bug.Has anyone experienced a similar problem?RegardsPaul

You mean a localized bug on your computer Paul? I don't veer and have the same aircraft you do so let me tell you what I know causes this. If you do not set thrust to 40 N1 and let stablize before pushing TOGA you probaly have asymmetry in thrust. To prove this simply increase the throttles very slowly alowing for speed to build and continue this till takeoff WITHOUT TOUCHING THE CONTROLS to steer. It will keep the center line al the way to takeoff..Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Animation1.gifCaution!
