How can I stop the intermittant warning buzzer?

Recommended Posts

Guest cliff

Shortly after loading a PMDG 737, while still on the runway without having touched the throttles, sometimes the buzzer begins and I can't stop it. This doesn't happen every time.(Normally I get the buzzer when opening the throttle with the brake on. On releasing the brake the buzzer stops.)The buzzer continues even after loading another aircraft and only stops when I exit FS9.Any tips to solve this one please?Cliff

Hi,I believe (others please correct me if I'm wrong) that you're getting a valid warning that the aircraft is not configured for takeoff, e.g. parking brakes on, no flaps set etc. etc. When I need to hold the aircraft on the brakes, due to a short runway/high weight I hold it on the foot brake as opposed to the parking brake. As for the sound continuing after you exit I have had a similar situation when either changing aircraft or after a crash (as in hit ground, not PC crash) and the sim is resetting itself. Maybe a bug? Regards,Joe Mathews.P.S. Don't want to sound like a danger, I don't crash much! ;-)
