November 15, 200421 yr I was at crz altitude and all of a sudden with 10 to 15 fps with clear weather my sim froze and would start hiccuping every 30 seconds or so, what can be the cause??? I'm not sure if its related to pmdg but i just bought it and just started experiencing this...
November 15, 200421 yr Joe,I would suspect some scenery you just went above causing this as it was a smooth ride up to that point. Maybe a graphics driver problem. Or it could be a memory issue. Or a HDD issue. Hard to tell with so little facts. Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
November 15, 200421 yr Anything that you can think of as related to the hick-ups you see. What's your hardware setup? What drivers are you using? What tweals have you done to your FS? To your system? Have you tried the exact same route in another plane? In what planes did you test it? Do you have any add-on sceneries that could influence your performance? What was the flight plan route? Did you see any unusual activity or processes in your Task Manager? What anti-virus are you using. Is it turned on while flying? When did you last do a check for spy-ware? There are sooo many things that can cause FS to stutter, so half of them would sure be enough... :-)That's the kind of facts we're looking for. :+ Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

November 16, 200421 yr Hi, Just a suggestion: Have you checked your hard drive for errors, or defragmented it recently?BoazEKCH
