Looking for some Geeky Advice

Guys,This is more of a 'graphic and video cards for dummies' kinda question since I dont understand cards and drivers very well. The following is my current system spec:Pentium IV CPU 1.90GHz 512 MB of RAM and then I have the Intel 82845G Graphics Controller (whatever that is)...and with all of this I manage to get decent framerates with NG series....But if I were to enhance that and subsequently be ready for the 747 to come out..Do I need to buy a graphics or a video card and what should I buy? PMDG's website states a 32MB Graphics card and 2.5GHz (what do I have to do to get this up from 1.90Ghz).Excuse my ignorance. But I'd like some help here and needless to say, needs to be cost effective...Thanks,-Pranav

If you are getting good frames now with the NG I would wait and see wahat the queen does when she comes out. I believe it was Lefteris that said that the frame rates might even be better than the NG. You have to realize though that it is still early and there is still alot for them to do. Best bet is to wait. Components are only going to get cheaper.

I echo what Jeremy said. Wait when she comes out and then worry about upgrades. Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2
