Anyone having problems with the aircraft sounds/switches? Any button or switch I click on, plays my Windows98 default sound. Yuk.. So, when you click on say the nav switch, what do you hear?

Well now... let's see. Just was zooming around the sky near KLAS, big grin on my face, and because I'm a businessman I naturally start doing the numbers in my head (yeah, I can fly AND think at the same time :-lol ).So this little gem is being offered at no charge. Now if anyone isn't sure whether they should invest (their time downloading) in this airplane, then I'll make this perfectly clear.GET IT!!!NOW!!!And if you happen to be one of those folks who disdains the thought of paying for an addon, think about this: While at the FSD site consider putting a few bucks in the till for one of their other aircraft, any one will surely tickle your fancy as much as the Talon. Hey, look at it this way... you'll be getting two incredible aircraft for the price of one (a killer deal), and these fine creators can continue to offer us state of the art addons. And, no, I am in no way associated with FSD. Like most, I'm just a simmer who keeps being thankful to the fine artists in this hobby.Uhh... excuse me, NASA's on the phone. Seems I have to head out to the CAPE...FSD-International T-38 Talon... THE NEW ROCKET IN TOWN!!!P.S. The tip vortices are a cool touch.

Might be a wee bit busy :-lol To Spitfire- The sounds are aliased to the default Lear. Wouldn't be surprised if we see an addon sound package in the library soon.Zoomin' and boomin',

SoarPics, yeah I see that the lear is the default sound for engines, gear etc. But I have a feeling the gauges for the T 38 are somehow linking to my operating system. I can't figure it out...Anyone running Windows 98SE? I don't have problems with the lear jet, so that's why I'm starting to wonder if the gauges are the problems. This aircraft is a beauty, and gotta get this fixed....One question? what sound do you hear when clicking a swtich/button?Or do you hear nothing?ThanksPS: My Problem. When I click on a switch, my operating system (windows 98SE) default sound plays. Not to realistic :-lolI'm starting to get very :-8Maybe I should just :-hang myselfBetter yet, maybe time for a :-beerchug

I run 98SE and have no problems with the "clicks". They sound as they usually do in the Lear. Will look into it further,

Hey Spit-I answered your post in the other forum, but since you've seemed to expand on it a bit here, I'll add to this thread also.I can assure you that the gauges are is not linked to the OS nor is there any problem flying the T-38 under 98SE. I have probably about 30 hours or so flying the T-38 all during beta testing. She is a beaut. :D I'd check your complete installation and, as you indicated, check your default aircraft also.Regards,http://home.earthlink.net/~snyders2000/T2.jpg http://www.fsd-international.com/images/FSD_beta_tester.jpg | [LINK:www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?emailsearch=jlsnyder@hdp.com]AIRLINERS.NET PHOTOS][/b

Hi Jeff, I'm sure your right. The T38 is a wonderful aircraft, and I have to thank you for such wonderful job.Can you answer me this. In the default aircraft, do you hear click sounds when turning on or off the switches? I'd like to fix my problem, without a reload if possible.Cheers

It seems like you got your questions answered by Steve Small at the other forum. However, in the interest of providing others with an explanation in case they have Windows issues like yours, here's the link:http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/cgi/dcforu...orumID10&omm=27Unfortunately, it sounds like a Windows issue and not a FS2002 or FSD issue.Regards,http://home.earthlink.net/~snyders2000/name.jpg http://www.fsd-international.com/images/FSD_beta_tester.jpg | [LINK:www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?emailsearch=jlsnyder@hdp.com]AIRLINERS.NET PHOTOS][/b
