Problems starting up

I follow the start up procedure, but as soon as I start the first engine the following happens:-I get low pressure indication in the hydraulics pumps-The same happens with all the fuel pumps-The yaw damper goes off and I can't turn it back to on-I also get a battery discharge alert and a TR fail signal (below theAC amps)In spite of that, I can start the second engine and fly the plane.Switching the fuel pumps off doesn't stop the engines.What I am doing wrong ?Thank you for your supportJose I. Jose(145.626)Turn your engine driven generators online. Check the overhead and see to it you don't have any blue lights for electrical.Hope it helps,

Thank you Matts, I recycled the engine driven generators and everything turned correct. I think this step is not sufficiently described in the procedures and/or the tutorials.Best RegardsJose I. Alarcon

Switching the fuel pumps off doesn't stop the enginesI think this is correct, once the engines are running, they utilize their own engine driven pumps. The actual fuel system is quite complex with various pressures and overide pumps. Interesting reading though.

George, thank you for your comments. I think you are right.I have been reviewing my start up procedure and the manuals and tutorials. I must have been going to fast ! You can't miss a single line. I found that I was not setting the APU generator switches. That's the reason that I got a lot of amber indications after starting the engines. Now I wonder if in the real plane you can activate all those pumps (hydraulics,fuel) without the APU providingAC current.Best RegardsJose I. Alarcon

I am not sure about the hydraulics, but if I remember correcty the fuel pumps can run off of the battery or ground power. I believe they are needed to start the APU.
