Well, PMDG fans talking about stuff, I don't see a problem with it.I use a number of anti-spyware programs, and unfortuanetly they don't all work. I still get some.I use EMCO Bouncer, SpyDoctor, Ad aware and Hijack this. All find it, but only SpyDoctor does a somewhat decent job of preventing the crap from coming to my computer.#### ALL MAKERS OF SPYWARE, ADWARE, MALWARE, virus' AND WORMS!!! #### THEM TO HELL!!!!!You know, honestly, life in prison or deathrow is not enough for the people who propogate this. If I saw one of these little cyberpunks that make these virus' or these IT geeks that started this spyware crap, run over on the side of the road bleeding and asking for help, I'd probably kick and spit at them in the face. Sorry to sound harsh, but it's true.

Joe,Do you use Firefox as your web browser? I haven't seen so much as a single piece of spyware on my system since I dupped IE in favor of FF...AdAware SE and Spybot 1.3 are both good - MS just released their beta Antispyware program too which seems to be getting pretty good reviews.

The number of times I've had to format+reinstall my PC to get rid of the crap that gets on it is unreal.I've used ad aware before, but sometimes even the best software around won't get rid of some of the stuff and formatting is the only way. Safest thing to do is get off the internet and play flight sim I say! Every second spent surfing the net is time lost on the NG.

The new MS$ beta version is prety good. You will need to provide them with your Windows code to verify and download so be prepared for that. It beats Ad-Aware hands down already since it is "active" whereas other programs only "scan" after they are in your system.
Randy J. Smith
Wow, well be nice to see the new MS OS. I use Mozilla most of the time, but sometimes Netscape. Mozilla takes care of the popups, never have 'em when I'm using Mozilla. Explorer is just spyware and popup ridden. In fact, sometimes when I'm using Netscape, I'll get popups in Explorer! Either way, I'm sick of it all. At least I know I'm not the only one out there.

I agree with Randy the MS Spyware is a good program, It is in public Beta right now and there is talk that it will be payware when it goes gold.

Used to use spybot and ad-aware, but have been using firefox since version.07 and have never had spyware since(these programs never find anything when using firefox). Plus its just more intuitive and easier to customize to you liking. I love all the different extensions that can be added. Tabbed browsing has changed the way I see the internet.Pop ups ,what pop ups. Gone

Run ad-aware and spybot. make sure you run their updaters to have the latest files. That takes care of spyware.Be worried about M$ and their version of spyware, that leaves it up to them to decide what is spyware and what isn't. Besides, their whole windows is spyware
