NO ATC OR PILOT SOUND ON PMDG AIRCRAFT

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME.I AM AT THE END OF MY ROPE WITH THIS ONE. I RECENTLY UPGRADED TO A P4-3.4Ghz ON ASUS P5P800 MOTHERBOARD WHICH HAS ON BOARD SOUND USING SOUNDMAX SOUND SOFTWARE.NOW I CANNOT GET ATC/PILOT VOICE SOUND ON MY PMDG A/C BUT CAN ON ALL DEFAULT A/C. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING INCLUDING CHECKING LATEST DRIVERS, REINSTALLING THEM ALSO CODECS. I HAVE TRIED DELETING THE CONFIG FILE. IHAVE TRIED LOADING DEFAULT A/C, CHECKING MASTER BATTERY & MASTER AVIONICS SWITCHES ON THEN SWITCHING PLANES TO PMGG 737. THIS ONE WORKS FOR A FEW MESSAGES THEN SILENCE.I HAVE SEEN ON THIS FORUM THE SUGGESTION TO GO TO WINDOWS SETUP > MULIMEDIA AND INSTALL AUDIO COMPRESSION. I AM RUNING WIN2000 PRO AND I DONT THINK THIS OPTION IS AVAILABLE.IF THERE IS ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT HAS A SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM YOU WILL HAVE SAVED ME FROM A TOTAL NERVOUS BRAKEDOWN.

THIS ONE WORKS FOR A FEW>MESSAGES THEN SILENCE.Dick,It's becuase your battery is going dead (and I can't explain why default aircraft seem to work forever). To confirm this, when you loose audio, start the engines and see if you get your audio back.What you can do is go to FSUIPC, TECHNICAL tab, and take a look at the battery checkbox. I set mine to ZERO, so that the battery runs forever, else you can set it at like 10 and see if it extends the life long enough for you to get set up.Hope this helps!/R,Ted Barkley

HI TED.THANKS FOR THE ADVICE BUT GUESS WHAT I JUST LOST PATIANCE, WENT DOWN TO THE STORE AND BOUGHT A GOOD OLD FASIONED CREATIVE LABS SOUNDBLASTER SOUND CARD, DISABLED MY ON BOARD SOUND AND UNINSTALLED ALL ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE THEN INSTALLED THE CARD AND EVERYTHING WORKS JUST LIKE BEFORE.HOWEVER I DO APPRECIATE YOUR FAST RESPONSE AND ADVICE WHICH IS MORE THAN I GOT FROM A CUSTOMER SUPPORT DEPARTMENT WHOSE NAME I WONT MENSION.BEST REGARDS AND THANKS AGAIN.
