Well, to reload a new route, you can click on the RTE button and then put in your new departure airport in the top LSK.

You cannot. You can ONLY modify once you are airborn...
Randy J. Smith
Lots of different opinions in forums. I would suggest to download a tutorial like PMDG's 737NG Advanced Flight Tutorial 1,01. Once you master all that you won't have to look for the "right" answer in the forum. Flying tutorials is the best way of learning. Also try, for a bit of fun, HRW around the world flights with different aircraft depending on where you are flying at the time. You don't have to use the default aircraft either. Can be downloaded from AVSIM.

>Thanks Eric,>>it's actually whilst flying I want to add a new route and I>don't seem to be able to delete or change the departure>airport in RTE>HEric,Once in-flight you can't insert a company Route in the RTE page but you can insert a new destination. Infact, the Distination can be changed many times if needed.Go to the RTE page and insert the new Destination in line 1R, Execute. You may get a message, NO ACTIVE ROUTE, which is fine. Now go to the LEGs page and build a new route to the Destination. You can also go to the DEP/ARR page a build a route with a STAR if appropriate. Don't forget to add an APP. Go back to the LEGs page and clean up by bringing up the Active waypoint, Execute, engage LNAV and get rid of any route discontinuities and unwanted waypoints. Add or delete any airspeed and altitude restraints. Go the CRZ page and insert the new CRZ altitude if you haven't started a descent yet and Execute. Go to the MCP altitude window and dial in the new CRZ altitude. Engage VNAV.Go to the Pressurization panel and insert the new CRZ altitude and Destination landing altitude.Go to PROGRESS page and check the landing fuel at the new Destination.Good luck,Floyd
