Slow aircraft textures

When changing from cockpit to spot plane view the aircraft textures are slow to load, taking about a second to cover the complete aircraft. Is this normal?system is:AMD900w/Win98SEGeforce 3 Titanium 64mb card512 megs ramTwo hard drives, Windows on C and FS2002 on D..JamesJ

I experience this also, but only with POSKY aircraft and the 757's made by IFDG. This is on a P4 1.8gig with 512 mb DDR ram and a GeForce4 Ti4600 system. I guess it is just the nature of the textures of the aircraft. The IFDG planes are not GMAX.
